School of Good and Evil

The School of Good and Evil, by Soman Chainani, is a heartwarming book based off of two girls. One, is a stereotypical “princess-like” girl, named Sophie, while the other is the stereotypical “witch,” named Agatha. In their world, there is a far-away land called the School of Good and Evil. Both girls expect to be kidnapped and taken. Although, they both believe that the other is their counterpart, they become great friends in their village. On the night they are scheduled to be taken to the school, they are taken away from their beds by the School Master. Agatha and Sophie see the schools are a prepared for their daily tasks. Sophia in good, Agatha in Evil, just what they thought. But, what if the roles were switched. Agatha finds herself in the castle of Good, while Sophie is tortured in the castle of Evil. They struggle to find a way to switch, until they realize, they are right where they belong. Follow Agatha and Sophie’s travel as they learn how to accept their greater fairy-tale futures in Soman Chainani’s ongoing series.

The School of Good and Evil is overall, one my favourite all-time series. I have personally read the series three times, and am eagerly waiting for the rest of the series to arrive. Although the books are big, and can get boring at some parts, trust me when I say, if you push through the boring parts, you will find a magical story waiting for you at the end. The School of Good and Evil gives a adventurous and magical spin of fairy tales.
