Clementine
Clementine
Sara Pennypacker
Clementine is having not so good of a week. On Monday she's sent to the principal’s office for cutting off Margaret’s hair. Tuesday, Margaret's mother is mad at her. Wednesday, she's sent to the principal... again. Thursday, Margaret stops speaking to her. Friday starts with yucky eggs and gets worse. And by Saturday, even her mother is mad at her. Okay, fine. Clementine is having a DISASTROUS week. Meet Clementine as she figures out the difference between right and wrong, she meets new people, and she finds out how to treat real friends.
All in all, Clementine has proven to be a generally enjoyable and sweet read. The story is funny, adorable, and is sure to make you smile. Clementine is a sweet girl and shows the troublemaker side of a kid. It’s a story perfect for young kids and will make them giggle of laughter. I recommend reading this story with beginner readers.
